Our History

Trident Machine Tools, LLC was established in 1994 to distribute and service Haas Automation CNC machine tools and rotary products in New England. 

As one of the first Haas Factory Outlet’s, Trident Machine Tools has seen it’s business develop into a 20 million dollar enterprise, employing nearly 30 people.

Each year at the annual Haas Distributor Meeting, Trident is recognized for outstanding Sales and Service Achievements.  Many of our Service Technicians have been awarded the prestigious Pro-Tech award for outstanding customer service. We are also the recipient of the Brian Hawk Memorial Award for outstanding individual sales achievement, dedication, integrity, and record sales.

Each of our facilities offers showrooms for demonstrations, training, and service.

About Our President

Kirk DeRousse has a career in machine tool distribution that spans over 25 years. After graduating from Kent State University in 1972, Kirk entered the machine tool industry in a technical sales role. Kirk served in sales and management capacities with machine tool companies that include Clausing/Colchester, Boston Digital, and Rem Sales Inc. His responsibilities have included District Sales management with Clausing and Rem Sales, Regional and National Distributor Sales management with Boston Digital Corporation, and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Rem Sales, Inc.

He joined Trident Machine Tools, LLC as President in 1999 and became a minority partner in 2005. Trident is the exclusive distributor of Haas Automation products in New England and currently employs 30 people to market, service, train, and support Haas products.

Kirk has served on numerous industry organization committees and task forces including the AMTDA, AMT, and SME. He has also served as a member on numerous builder and distributor council organizations including Haas Automation.
